Central Virginia Raceway Ministries (CVRM) is gearing up for the next race weekend: (see flyer above) Help race fans, vendors, workers, and others know Christ is present. We need many volunteers to make this ministry possible. If you can help set up the site, greet guests, give away cookies and water, act as a chaplain, or otherwise share your talents, then help us engage a multitude of people one by one.
Volunteers are required to attend a virtual Workers Training Meeting before starting your shift. Please contact Charles Ward at (804) 262-3612 or abcdward73@yahoo.com for more information.
WE NEED COOKIES AND EASTER EGGS!! CVRM leaders ask that church mission groups, Sunday School classes, youth groups, and individuals make “homemade” cookies. Please bag these in small clear lock-style plastic bags, 2-3 medium sized cookies per bag. Put a label on the outside of each bag “compliments of _______ Baptist Church.” (Contact the MDBA office for delivery options ) Food Allergy Alert: if you use peanuts or a peanut product in your cookies, please note that on the bag.
Plastic Easter eggs should contain factory-wrapped candy and should not be taped shut.
MORE WAYS TO VOLUNTEER
Can you drive a GOLF CART? Volunteers are needed to deliver fans (especially disabled and elderly) from the camp grounds to trams to wherever in the complex they need to go, as well as others that may need help.
Want to help by providing COOKIES? Place 2-3 medium sized cookies in clear ziplock-style bags. Label each bag “Compliments of _____Baptist Church.” (No tracts, please.) Deadline to MDBA office is Noon, Thursday, March 28.
God has opened the door to expanded opportunities for ministry at Richmond Raceway. Pray for the ministry. Bake cookies. Donate eggs. Invite someone to volunteer with you.
Food Allergy Alert: We appreciate all the cookies, but, if you use peanuts or a peanut product in your cookies, please note that on the bag.
