2017 Offering Information
Bridging RVA: Connecting individuals, groups and causes to advance the good in our communities. A ministry envisioned by local Christians, they have connected churches, schools, and the private sector companies to do everything from feeding the under-resourced at Thanksgiving; bringing Christmas presents to children who are missed by other ministries; and more recently provided 100 beds for 100 kids who had no bed.
African Partnerships: Ministers to African health needs, students, orphans, pastors and underprivileged.
Central Virginia Baptist Ministries: Provides Middle District churches annual training for deacons/pastors, and church leaders. Also hosts a raceway ministry at RIR each spring and fall.
Kingdom Builders: Twice yearly youth gather to help with home repairs for those in need in Middle District. Funds provide the needed building supplies.
Educational Scholarship: Financial assistance for students. Application process is now open and can be found on the mdba.org website, or by contacting our office.
Missionary Support : Stephen Stepp, Vienna, Austria and a member of Chesterfield Baptist serving through the Ventura Program of the BGAV, sharing the gospel with those who have never heard of Jesus, and getting to disciple new believers on a weekly basis. These ministry funds make all this possible as well as providing Bibles, food, employment training and so much more to the hundreds who have fled from Syria and surrounding areas.
Reimagine Church Conference: A region-wide conference October 19-20 for church leaders of all denominations and is being planned and hosted by Middle District. The goal of the conference is to bring spiritual encouragement and practical insights to church leaders who are searching for practical steps to reimagine God’s full potential for their churches.
