BTSR DEAN OF THE FACULTY: This position as Dean of the Faculty for Baptist Theological Seminary of Richmond will begin July 1, 2013. Rank commensurate with experience. Candidates preferably will hold the M.Div. and the Ph.D. or its equivalent, and will demonstrate significant leadership and administrative skills, teaching experience and scholarship, and commitment to the work of local congregations. The dean is encouraged to offer courses in his/her field as permitted by the duties of the deanship. The appointment as Dean is for five-year, renewable terms. The next dean is expected to lead the faculty in a curriculum revision and continue the development of degree programs. Women and minority candidates encouraged to apply. BTSR is a member of the ecumenical Richmond Theological Consortium and is supported by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Baptist General Association of Virginia.
