Church Planting $8,000
The Fil-Am Community Church is two years old and meets at Winfree Memorial Baptist Church. Under the leadership of Pastor Bot Samson, the church reaches the Filipino Community throughout Richmond.
The Amelia Community Church was launched before Easter of this year. Tommy Adams is the new pastor and is leading this ethnically diverse new church to reach the entire county for Christ.
Additional new churches are now being planned to begin in 2008.
LAMP $2,500
Latin American Mission Project reaches the Latino community with the love of Jesus Christ under the leadership
of Louis Orsatti.
The Shepherd’s Staff $3,500
Counseling and coaching for our church staffs and seminary students at reduced rates.
Hands-On-Missions - Missions outreach performed by MDBA Churches
Kingdom Builders $500
Youth mission project to help those in need with home repairs.
The Christmas Store $500
In the name of Jesus Christ, helping provide Christmas gifts for children and their families who need assistance.
Central Virginia Baptist Ministries (CVBM) $2,000
New Cooperative ministry venture among Middle District, Dover and Richmond Associations to do shared ministry projects throughout the capital region.
Katrina House Build (2009) $1500
In the spring of 2009, the Middle District Men's Ministry will lead the Association in building a home in Lower Plaquemines Parish, "ground zero" for Hurricane Katrina. These funds will help volunteers with transportation costs.
Americana Park Relocation $1500
Help with relocation expenses for families who will be forced to move from Americana Park in the Dutch Gap area of Chesterfield County. These trailers are in the Moore's Lake area adjacent to Jefferson Davis Hwy.
