Youth high on drugs burned the first and only church on the tiny Panama island of Carreto four years ago. The Christians asked their village chief for permission to rebuild but he refused. After three and a half years of fervent prayer, he gave permission and Middle District has recently been invited to help these Kuna Indians rebuild a more permanent church structure. The week for the mission trip to this remote island with 600 people are August 1-10 of this year. The cost is approximately $1,400.
